At Amodaia, we use AI selectively where it can improve efficiency, support information processing, or strengthen structured workflows without compromising scientific accuracy, confidentiality, or quality.
Our approach is technology-agnostic, transparent, and governed by client requirements. We do not assume that AI is appropriate for every engagement, and clients can request workflows that do not use generative AI.

- Client choice: We agree the permitted use of AI with clients and accommodate requirements for non-AI workflows.
- Confidentiality and data protection: We do not enter confidential, proprietary, personal, or sensitive client information into external AI systems without appropriate authorisation and safeguards.
- Human oversight: Qualified specialists remain responsible for evaluating evidence, reviewing outputs, and approving final deliverables.
- Scientific integrity: AI-generated information is not treated as an authoritative source. Scientific claims, references, and conclusions require appropriate verification.
- Transparency: We communicate material AI use in accordance with agreed client policies, contractual requirements, and applicable standards.
- Fit-for-purpose application: AI is used only where it provides a demonstrable benefit without introducing unacceptable risks to quality, accuracy, or compliance.
Human expertise remains central. AI is a tool, not a substitute for professional judgement.
